🌱In my sustainable plant based journey, I am of 🌱In my sustainable plant based journey, I am often asked that how am I able to sustain this lifestyle. Basically how I don’t have cravings for non plant base foods or from where I get my nutrients from? So I’m sharing three tips which were most helpful for me when I started my journey of plant based life. 🌱

1. Don’t deprive yourself from eating what you like.
2. Eat healthy and variety
3. Be friends with superfoods- in this age of genetically modified organisms, only food is not sufficient. You should include superfoods in your diet. They help you get all the nutrients and keep you healthy and fit.

James Clear introduces a very interesting law of building or getting rid of a habit which has four stages cue, craving, response, reward. He says that key to get better at your work or wherever you want to be is building a habit which helps your brain to focus better by eliminating the trial an error phase. Basically Habits are mental shortcuts learned from experience. As he said in his last chapter that having goals are not important, developing a system to complete the goal should be our priority and building a habit is key to it. 
As I keep hearing this that why should I follow a habit, I don’t want to be slave of time and make my life dull, on this instance James Clear says “such questions set up a false dichotomy. They make you think that you have to choose between building habits and attaining freedom, in reality they two compliment each other. 
-Without good financial habits, you’ll always be struggling for the next dollar.
-without good health habits you’ll always seem to be short on energy.
-without good learning habits, you’ll always feel like you’re behind the curve.

When you have your habits dialed in and the basics of life are handled and done, your mind is free to focus on new challenges and master the next set of problems.

He has also given two tables on “how to create a good habit” and “how to break a bad habit” stage wise. 
I personally have done this with breaking a bad habit in past. I stopped keeping sugar and preservatives filled products in my house which is the first law of making it invisible. And it followed by “make it unattractive” make it difficult” and “make it unsatisfying”.

So this was the little synopsis of chapter 3 of Atomic habits. Save it if you like it. Have you ever felt that we do go through by these stages of building or breaking a habit knowingly or unknowingly?

Sharing the recipe of famous Indian dessert “gaj Sharing the recipe of famous Indian dessert “gajar halwa” but this one is “Dairy free, gluten free and sugar free” ultra clean. 
For those who are not well aware with this dish, gajar halwa is an Indian sweet dish or dessert which is made with fresh carrots, milk, sugar and nuts. I’ve switched to plant based milk and dates instead of dairy and sugar.
If you are allergic to almonds, please switch to coconut milk instead. 

Unlike the traditional gajar  halwa, this one will add value in your holistic health and it’s very filling as well. The motive is not to deprive ourselves on our favourite foods in order to eat healthy and clean.
