I am learning with time that investing in ourselve I am learning with time that investing in ourselves is so important, nobody teaches us that. We should be able to provide for ourselves emotionally and from health aspect, and to make our lives gardens. Our own gardens where we consciously live every moment of our lives and contribute by taking care of ourselves. Greatest contribution we can make to this world or planet is when we sort ourselves as we were born, without any fear, insecurities and issues. It doesn’t mean we need to be self absorbed, what it means it to be self sufficient in managing our health and overall wellness. So that nothing seem difficult to overcome and we become able to identify the dangers in prior. Connecting with ourselves is like connecting with nature, from where we have come. Once our inner selves is satisfied then we become aware of what’s happening outside and we consciously choose to contribute and to protect, because then we understand we are part of this planet and as forests, rivers and animals. We are not doing any of this to protect the environment, it’s for us…the planet is us🌱
everything is intertwined and interconnected, we just have to be kind to ourselves and to the Mother Earth to understand that relationship.

Do you give yourself importance when it comes to follow a healthy lifestyle, do you take rest or do what you want for your leisure time without feeling guilty? Have you tried to address your mental and physical needs?

It’s been five years since I started my sustaina It’s been five years since I started my sustainable journey, and I have taken all possible steps to protect the environment by managing and controlling waste. Carrying a canvas bag, bottle, or lunch box and switching to sustainable products like menstrual cups and bamboo brushes and combs, going vegan (plant-based) are some of the steps I have taken toward a conscious lifestyle.

@sonikabhasin motivates me to live a low waste lifestyle by composting and making bio enzymes. Her efforts to switch to reusable and sustainable alternatives are truly inspiring. Not just her, but her son also joins in her efforts to put the planet first. It is thanks to @pirojshagodrejfoundation that has given me the opportunity to share her commendable efforts.

Tell me in the comments below who inspires you to put the #planetbeforeyou and let them know how much you appreciate their effort.

How to achieve healthy skin & hair? I think we a How to achieve healthy skin & hair?

I think we all know the key to it. Using multiple skin & hair care products aren’t going to suffice what needs to be mended from inside. We need to address the root causes of skin and hair issues and nourish ourselves from inside by developing healthy habits of eating and living. Sunbathing and movement are also required in order to achieve a holistic health.

I have learned it in a hard way and wish would have taken care of myself since the beginning. Now I’ve established a good relationship with eating habits in which superfoods are greatest discovery for me… Inner beauty bundle🌱from @cosmixwellness is the same.

KIM JIYOUNG BORN 1982 - CHO-NAM-JOO “It’s a e KIM JIYOUNG BORN 1982 - CHO-NAM-JOO

“It’s a every woman’s book.”

Although it was written in the context of gender inequality prevailing in Korean society but this novel has covered the globe for that matter.

The whole book can be outlined because of the relevance of every single aspect the writer covered in the book. The writer had to quit her job while she was pregnant and this book is partly based on her own experience. You can finish this book in a one go. Sharing a few striking paragraphs-

-Women has to take their husbands surname and kids have to take their father’s because there’s a law. Kim Jiyoung asks “Do laws and institutions change value or do values drive the law and institution”
-unequal and unfair distribution and imposition of household responsibilities. “Isn’t this your house too, your home? Your kid too? And If I work, don’t you spend my pay, too? Why do you keep saying “help out” like you’re volunteering to pitch in someone else’s work?”
-women leave their financial independence because of marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, children education and the writer has provided the real data for the same. “In 2014, around the time Kim Jiyoung left the com-pany, one in five married women in Korea quit their job because of marriage, pregnancy, childbirth and child-care, or the education of their young children.17 The workforce participation rate of Korean women decreases significantly before and after childbirth. Its percentage starts at 63.8 for women aged between twenty and twenty-nine, drops to 58 per cent for women aged thirty to thirty-nine, and increases again to 66.7 per cent for women over forty.” (Choi Minjeong, Current Sitations and Tasks of Policy for Superbes Nonnen on Career Steaks, Health)
-Polarised attitude towards domestic labour by not recognising the free work and shaming women for being housewives-
“she often noticed that there was a polarised attitude regarding domestic labour.
Some demeaned it as 'bumming around at home, while others glorified it as 'work that sustains life, but none tried to calculate its monetary value”
